Public Transport Attitude.

Assalamualaikum....

Let's talk about people's attitude when it comes to public transport. For starter, let me tell you, I've been using public transport for a very long time and I know all the ups and downs of it. This is not my first bad experience, but least to say...one of the not so good thing that I've experienced so far - in a day!!! (Seems like a bad public transport day for me huh....).

It all started early in the morning, around 0735 when I've got to take ERL from BTS station to Putrajaya Central. As we all know and have taught small kids at school that whenever we wanted to board a bus, we got to line up. I'm all agree with that rules and always try to apply that whenever I take public transport. I really hate when adults - ADULTS - doesn't follow what they have preach to the kids.

On that fateful morning, while I was waiting for a train, here comes one "Kakak" suddenly cut off the line between me and another girl and she doesn't seems to feel guilty at all. The worst thing is, she push her way in between me and that girl - literally pushing us away so that she can be on that spot. When the train arrived, she again....pushed me to the other side so that she can reach to the train door 1st. It was by fate that the spot where she had pushed me is where the door is. (Man...I was lucky wasnt I....hehehhe.). The incident doesn't stop on that day....she keep on "harassing" us on daily basis. But nway, I dont bother about her that much. She wont be lucky everyday.

My 2nd encounter of the day was when I was waiting for a bus at Putrajaya Terminal. There's this one student (a girl) was standing in front of me. Out of no where, here comes a guy standing next to her and chatting casually. I presume, it's her friend...so I dont mind at all. But then, when the bus arrived and people start to board, this guy just tag along with that girl. I was like....what??? Are you going to cut my line now??? I seriously cant take it...I called him and said. "Excuse me, line up please?" (With a killer look on my face...hehe). I was ready to bombard him with my words if he ever attempt to say anything. The very next day, he do the same thing to another girl...cutting the line on few peoples in front of me. **He never learnt a lesson - I tell you.**

I'm not too rigid on this but for me attitude - even when you board a public transport shows who you are as a person. I dont mind at all giving up for pregnant ladies, senior citizens, disable people...But when a young healthy people doing it??? Its a NO - NO for me. Why must we be so selfish and ignorance. Its sickening coz it shows that we're in a Selfish society...people just dont care what others think or feel just as long as they got what they want - in which ever way possibile - even if it means by hurting other peoples feelings.

Till this day, I'm still being one of the frequent users of public transport. For some reason, I still feel, using public transport is a much better options to travel - regardless of many not so good things that I've experienced so far. Strange thing is, I LOVE to watch and observe people while commuting on public transport.

Enough said...I will always use and support public transport - no matter what kind of attitude or scene that I'll encounter / see / experieced. It's exciting and not a single day pass by be the same...like a new chapter of a book and it is soo unpredictable!!! (^_^)
